Welcome to STEPS BACK IN TIME,  a website where 1930s - 1940s clothing and bric-a-brac are displayed and avaliable for TV or film rental.

The items on this website are just a small part of a large collection, which has taken many years to acquire.

I attend 1940s events all over the country most of the year and buy when I can, but rarely sell.

Each piece shown is in good vintage condition so feel free to browse through the pictures that will be updated on a regular basis.

There is also expert advice avaliable on costume etc, from the georgian period right up to the 1970s.
